Once a recognizable name in consumer electronics and data solutions, SanDisk was teetering on the edge of no longer being relevant. However, deciding to sell themselves to Western Digital in 2015 was still insufficient. In addition, the tech company doesn’t seem aware that tech is
ever-evolving. Therefore a new brand identity is critical to keep the brand relevant for years to come. The brand’s current logo was created in 2021. The current logo has modern typography and an abstract shape design. However, it is barely recognizable due to its lack of colour and abstract shape that has no symbolism to the company. Therefore, the current logo needs alteration to make the brand more recognizable to consumers.
